Perception of Space in Architecture and Culture (POSIAC) is the title of the EU-funded International Summer School which has been established in 2012. Within a two week period faculty and participants engage in empirical, theory and artistic explorations of the effects of spaces on its users is a young scientific field, but its relevance for architecture and interior design cannot be estimated high enough. The effects of spaces, objects and media environments to their users, plays for the later acquisition a central role and should therefore be considered in any planning and design process. Participating partner institutions are: Plymouth University (England), Istanbul Technical University (Turkey), and Lucerne University (Switzerland).
